LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITES

BBYO gives teens a platform to be catalysts for change in their everyday lives. This organization produces leaders who are strong, passionate, and adaptive. There are so many ways to get involved and show what you can do; below are only a few ways to do so.

• Chapter Board: Elections are at the end of the year. Check with your Chapter President to see when the Election Packet comes out and discuss what position is right for you.

• Talk to your Chapter Board and advisors to see what else your chapter offers. 

• Regional Board: Elections are in May at Spring Convention. Check with your Regional President to see when the Election Packet comes out and discuss which position is right for you.

• J-Serve Committee: Contact your Regional Sh'lichim to talk about how you can be a key leader in the Social Justice event of the year.

• Steering Committees: Contact your Regional S'ganim about how you can plan events at Overnights and Conventions throughout the year. You can also talk to the Regional Sh'lichim about leading a Shabbat service.

• Talk to the Regional Board and Staff to see what else the region offers.
